Why Become a Member?

Watercolor illustration of a yellow-throated marten with a yellowish-brown body, darker brown tail, and a face with a pointed snout and dark eye markings, against a black background.

When you join the Martes Working Group, you support one of the few wildlife nonprofits in the world dedicated entirely to the research, recovery, and conservation of small carnivores within the Guloninae sub-family. Our members include scientists, conservation practitioners, students, and wildlife advocates who work together across borders to protect fishers, martens, tayras, and wolverines.

Membership is about more than receiving updates; it’s about being a part of a collaborative network that values science, inclusion, and action.
